It's Session Time! Jazz Summer at the Handel House

In this concert, the young musicians play pieces from their debut album "Anomia", which was released on the label "Dynamite Platte". In the music of the quartet harmonically often simple songs meet more complex rhythmic structures. Free improvisations meet melancholic melody lines. Elements of contemporary indie rock meet improvisation and open form parts anchored somewhere in the free jazz tradition.

The focus is on the song-like nature of the pieces, which rarely allows the improvised solos to get out of hand in terms of time, and the preservation of musical arcs, despite all stylistic diversity. FLOSSE takes playfulness when it's needed, but also notices when it's time to pause.
